Can I get a student loan to release my Transcripts?
I was taking two classes in the fall of 2007 paid for by FAFSA Pell Grant. I lost my job of 6 years, and had to drop my classes mid term in order to go into welfare to keep my apartment and to find another job, thus i lost my grant. I was later told by the college to repay around $335 for the classes to which i haven't been able to repay to this day, I just don't make that kind of money being a single mom. I am trying to go back to school at another college but the previous college is withholding my transcript for that $335. I also need $55 to run my application for this school to get into the program that i can finish in a year and a half. Can I get a student loan or another type of Gov. Grant to get my transcripts released so i can go to school and pay it back when I get a better career?
How much can they take out of my paycheck for unpaid student loans?
About three years ago, I went to college and applied for a student loan.I got the loan, but I had to stop college that same year and the loan company mailed me and said I had to pay.Well I've never had enough income to pay the loans so I just held it off, and eventually forgot about it after all the moving and time passed. Now, I get a letter saying that they will take money out of my paycheck I owe a little over $3,000 if I don't pay.I'm still in no position to pay it right now, so they might have to go ahead and take out of my paycheck. How much will they take out?My paychecks are around $250 $300 a week. Also, I don't know if they will really go through with this, so I need to know an actual or approximate number or percentage and assume that they will. I want to be prepared. Thanks iiidontknowdoyou I am not a lowlife. I've just been handed a ton of unfortunate situations, most that people wouldn't care to dream of, so don't assume that about me.I had to quit school because of all of it and THAT is why I'm in this situation. Not because I am a low life.

Sponsored student loans?
I have two post graduate degrees and a high amount of student loan debt. I have consolidated my federal student loans, but I also have sponsored loans in my father's name. Is anyone aware of any company that will buy the sponsored loans, put them in my name, and possibly consolidate them with my other loans. I know this is probably not possible, but I'm desperate.

Does accrued interest on a student loan become part of principal?
This is about student loans. I was wondering if the interest accrues on an unsubsidized loan, does it add to the amount of principal.By that I mean, if my $1000 loan becomes $1200 when I graduate because of interest, does the new interest get charged on the $1200 or the $1000?
Which debt should I focus on first? Car payment, student loan or mortgage?
I have a car payment at 4.9%, private student loan at 10%, and a mortgage at 9.35% but this mortgage was only for 10% of the purchase price of my house . I don't have any credit card debt, and I have saved for a 6 month contingency fund. I'd like to focus on one of these debts to pay down first. I'd like to know which debt is considered the " worst." For example, I know credit card debt is something you should pay off first. So, really, regardless of the interest rates I'm paying, I'd like to know which debt is considered the " worst" as far as my credit rating. Also, each payment is about the same per month.
